A few months ago I came in due to a low tire pressure light, as I was heading out of town for a funeral I wanted it to be taken care of by the professionals. The wait was extremely long to even be seen and then even more for just airing up tires. One salesman scanned my tires with a phone and said that the back two were "extremely dangerous", "illegal", "unsafe", "wouldn't be able to make the drive on them", etc. The actual tire tread was not physically checked. They were extremely predatory and pushy in trying to sell me tires. I continued to say no (as I know my car and tires well enough). Once I got into town, I had my uncle, a retired and very experienced mechanic, check them and he agreed I had at least another year on the back tires. They also forgot to put back on 2 valve caps. I had to go back and request them once I returned to Utah county. Thankfully that wasn't a hassle. While I understand trying to warn customers that the tire tread is low and unsafe, it was done in such a manner it was a) untrue and b) predatory. I spent over 10 minutes saying no to new tires. Dishonest manager. If you would like to be lied to to your face repeatedly this is a great option! We went in to get an alignment and needed all new tires. I don't know how badly we needed new tires based off the rampant dishonesty from the manager we were talking with, Brandon Rojas. Firstly the wrong tire size was put in and the wrong quote given, then he said he would "upgrade" us to a better tire in the right size, that had to be brought in from another location. We had a road trip planned and were trying to get on the road asap and ended up stuck there for 2 hours. He said the tires he was upgrading us to were usually around $160 (I looked them up on discount tires website, they're $109) but he was "giving us a great deal" closer to our original quote for the "cheaper tires". Except the original tires were $114 and these ones were only $109 or $99 after the "GREAT DEAL" (that he could ONLY include with the protection plan we didn't want) bringing our total to higher than the original cost even with the cheaper tires he "upgraded" us to (to be fair they were rated better, but we were also told they were vastly more expensive than they actually were which felt very skeevy) When

We drove into town on a cross country road trip, when our tire started to feel funny. We get to the shop less then an hour before close. The guy at the desk got to helping us right away and confirmed what was wrong. He then gave us recommendations about tires quality both from stats and personal preference. They had the tires we needed on hand and were about to get the job done with in 20minutes of a spot opening up in the garage bays. The guys were so quick and professional. They truly were a blessing for us today.

They were great! They got us in despite being so busy. We had a flat on our jeep. Actually they were getting everyone in and out. The staff is amazing 👏 talkative, kind and helpful. Pleased with everything! 10+ to them!

In December 2025, we visited Discount Tire on South State Street in Orem, Utah. One of my car tires had 3 nails stuck in it and needed to be replaced. Due to the Christmas holidays, Discount Tire had many customers with tire needs, and they were able to handle and process the large volume of customers. We are satisfied with the new tires that we had installed at Discount Tire, and we will be returning there for our ongoing future tire needs.
